MICEXPO FAQ’s

We have brought together some Question and Answers for you regarding the operations of MICEXPO. If you don’t fond an answer to your question or issue, feel free to send a query via the Contact Form. Otherwise, our moderators are normally online and can assist if really urgent.

Is Registration Free?
Yes, basic registration is free and allows you access to the entire site. You can view the Business Directory, Blogs, Discussions, Marketplace listings, and much more. You can even List in our Business Directory for free. To access additional features such as upgrading your company listing, we ask that you upgrade your membership.
Can I List a Business and not Register as a Member?
Yes it is possible, but we strongly advise that you register somebody in your organization as your representative on the site. That way, you have a face and direct contact to receive requests and queries. After all, this is a B2B Social Network and you may find someone who needs to talk to you as a potential client. You can always set your Profile settings to maintain privacy. We monitor all submissions and will remove any listing that does not fit the MICExchange niche, or violates its guidelines.
Can I invite my business friends?
Of course, and we welcome all MICE and Travel professionals to MICEXPO.
What does it cost to upgrade my membership?
Please go to our Membership and Subscription Page to see which package best suites your needs. There are inexpensive packages that allow Business Listing enhancements such as a complete Mini-Website all the way up to Premium Memebership that provides access to Featured Spots, Highlighted Business spots, News Feed Promotions and so on. There will soon be a “Life Membership” that gives you the works. We are planning a set of packages so that you can simply order an advertising spot or similar for a set period of time. For instance, you will be able to order a Featured Spot for a month, even with a Free Membership.
Can we contribute to the Blogs?
Yes! Blog and Post away! Join in in Forum discussions and Polls. You automatically can create your own Blog and make it Public or Private. Even create your own Group. That’s the whole point of MICExchange, people offering their experiences, knowledge and thoughts.
Can I contact other Members?
Of course – You can send a message within the site. If they are Online, you can open a IM/Chat with them. You can comment on their Blog and Forum posts. We prefer that you don’t contact them “offsite” unless they have given you permission so as to avoid spamming. Any member found to be spamming and reported to us will be either banned or removed from membership and the site. You can contact several members at once, for instance all your Group Members.
Can I place an Offer in the Promotions?
Yes. Once a member, you can place an offer in the MICE FINDER marketplace.
If you want your Promotions visible to Members only, you will need to upgrade your membership. We want these to be “Industry Only” so as to maintain a degree of Professionalism in promoting your opportunity.
Can I create a Promotion?
Yes, you will need to be a member or upgrade your membership. When we make it available, you will be able to run a short promotion. Otherwise, explore our advertising options, they can be an inexpensive promotional option.
Can we register more than one Company Member?
Of course, registration is free and each can assist if you have a busy or advanced listing. However, you may wish to have a single upgraded Membership to access and update the added features available across the website.
Can you assist in Designing or creating our Mini-Website?
Yes we can. Please check the options and costs in the Marketplace under, MICEXPO Site Design. Otherwise contact us directly and we will assist you. Our rates will soon be published, but are quite competative.
